Priory Bay Review
Why go? For a slice of paradise - without having to get on a plane.
By  Lucy Fry

Priory Bay is an intimate, boutique hotel that's ideal for anyone looking for relaxation, romance and rest. The Isle of Wight setting is dreamy, too – the hotel is situated right next to the beach from which it took its name, just a few minutes' drive from the Isle of Wight's capital, Ryde.

The Principal rooms are, without doubt, the best – each of them is deliberately designed to be unique, and with a completely different style – but the standard rooms, cottages and bars also offer a high level of comfort and are more suited for those with children and pets. For the more adventurous, Priory Bay also offers luxury camping in the form of Yurts, each of which have a king-size bed, beanbags, sofas and their own terrace and en suite bathroom.
